I'm not complaining but...........

Saturday was pretty hard for me. I am having some physical problems (other than aches and pains) that I have to deal with that are leaving me a little depressed. I won't elaborate for the sake of the men! Also, my ankle had me hobbling the rest of the weekend. I took yesterday off and did the eliptical for 60 minutes today. Hopefully, I can give my ankle a little rest before the next long run.
We will be flying out to Denver Wed. and driving on to Boulder for the wedding on Saturday. Hopefully things will go okay. It is sometimes very hard for the blending of families when there has been a divorce even after this long.
Hope everyone has a great week and for those traveling a safe trip.

Hang in there Jana. Give you body time to heal. Your ankle was hurting last Thursday and Saturday certainly didn't help it. You are not going to fall behind if you give your body time to rest. Have a good trip. You are going to be in my thoughts this week. Suzanne

I totally understand about the blended family stuff. Weddings are especially hard because everyone has to put on a happy face for the bride and groom. Some are able to, some are not. I know you are one of those that can. Take care of yourself and just enjoy your trip. A fews days of rest will do your body good. I'll be thinking about you this week. Keep blogging to let us know how things are going.

Hopefully the "altitude adjustment" gives you an "attitude adjustment" and you will return rejuvenated, feeling better physically and ready to roll again.

I seem to rotate ailments - some I can talk about publicly and others that I just want to forget. But you, GIRL, are doing very well out there! And, maybe it's time for a few days rest. A wedding puts enough stress on everyone without adding the pressure of feeling like you haven't run enough. I'm inflicting that pressure on myself these days and it's really stupid because we know we'll get to Chicago. We may not be in the fast pack but we'll do it! Please rest and try to enjoy your time away from the regular schedule. Put that ankle up and enjoy the scenery. Tell Clark, it's time to chill!!

Jana,

Does this mean you won't be in Clinton for the Sat. run?? How will Cookie and I ever make 11 miles without you?! We'll be thinking about you for sure. Have a safe trip and I hope your week has gotten better. Donna

Oh, girl, I hate that you are having problems. I know your ankle will heal soon with a little rest. As far as the other, you told me about that and I cannot relate, but I know it must be frustrating. And I bet it's a pretty common thing. Have you seen a doc about it? I bet there are things that can be done. I REALLY hate that I don't get to see you and Clark for another weekend. I miss you two soooo much. But you'll have a great time in CO and I'm sure the wedding will be fun or at least interesting. Hang in there girl. You are my inspiration!
